Mornings: Before Announcements-read with kid's! Help out with PARP!
January/Fubruary:
Both groups are assisting Mrs. Martin with the collection, cleaning, and counting of Capri Suns to recycle.
Both groups made posters and decorated the school for our author visit Fubruary 25th, Gary and Justin VanRiper, Adirondack Kids Series. Also, the 4th and 5th Grade Helping Hands Group is reading the first book in the series to the kindergarten classes tp prpare them for the author visit.

Also, Helping Hands for Haiti!!! We are collecting loose change for Haiti. Mrs. McCabe's class and Mrs. Potter's class, along with our Helping Hands have made piggybanks for each classroom to collect loose change to send to Haiti.

UPCOMING EVENTS:
• Literacy Night at the Fire barn in March.
• Adopting a child from Africa to send through (i.e. Bridges out of Poverty).
• Making blankets to take to the senior center.
• Assisting with PARP-reading with primary students.
• Clean-up around in our community in the Spring.
